Blackbodies ECN100 Serie
HGH Infrared Systems
The ECN100 blackbodies are extended area infrared reference sources delivered in two parts: a compact emissive head and an electronic controller. The emissive head includes an exclusive emissive surface made of micro-pyramids.
Main Features:
  • Temperature range: 50°C to +300°C
  • Optional Extended High Range: 550°C
  • Dimensions (mm): from 150x150 to 500x500
  • Emissive area uniformity: +/-0.5 °C max at 100°C
  • Emissivity: >0.99
Moreover, since the surface is made of such micro-cavities, these sources can be used over a wide range of wavelengths from near-IR to far IR.

Blackbodies Absolute -Differential DCN1000N Serie
HGH Infrared Systems
The DCN1000N extended area blackbodies are differential and absolute infrared reference sources. They can be used as low temperature infrared reference sources. They consist of an emissive head which temperature is controlled via an electronic unit with real time adjusted PID regulator.
Main Features:
  • Extended areas up to 300 mm x 300 mm
  • Differential and absolute modes operation
  • Compact emissive head
  • Absolute temperature range from +5 °C to +100 °C
  • Enhanced emissivity with pyramidal pattern for emissive surface
Various sizes of emissive area are available to suit applications such as thermal imager characterisation with MRTD, LSF and NETD targets, focal plane array calibration, infrared sensor non uniformity correction.

Blackbodies Low Temperature DCN1000L series
HGH Infrared Systems
Although similar to the traditional differential and absolute infrared reference sources, the DCN1000L blackbodies incorporate specific features in order to reach lower temperatures.
Main Features:
  • Temperature range: -40°C to +80°C
  • Differential and Absolute mode operation
  • Real time display of emissive area and set point temperature
  • High thermal uniformity and emissivity
Various emissive area sizes are available to suit different applications, i.e. characterisation of thermal imagers (MRTD, LSF and NETD targets), calibration of focal plane arrays, non-uniformity correction of infrared sensors.

Vacuum cryogenic Blackbodies DCN1000V series
HGH Infrared Systems
Although similar to the traditional infrared reference sources, the DCN1000V blackbodies incorporate specific features in order to reach the desired temperatures within a reasonable time when operating at cryogenic temperatures in vacuum.
Main Features:
  • Absolute temperature range from +100K to +200K
  • Real time display of emissive area and set point temperature
  • Fast response time and high stability
  • High thermal uniformity and emissivity
Various emissive area sizes are available to suit different applications such as characterisation and radiometric calibration of space borne imagers, non-uniformity correction of infrared sensors,
