    CCTI 320/40 Aquila ultra small thermal imager
    The Aquila CCTI 320 / 40 is an ultra small, ultra light, low power “discrete” short range thermal imager, utilizing a 17µm VOx uncooled 320 x 240 microbolometer, resistant to solar damage.
    The housing is constructed of a dedicated polymer material giving great protection against the elements.

    It can be deployed into the smallest, hard to get to places and yet is unobtrusive and almost hidden.As part of a surveillance system this thermal imager can give you the edge that is needed to provide total protection day and night. Housing colour available in black or white.

    UC640-17-LW Thermal Core

    DRS’ UC640-17-LW is an uncooled, highly sensitive vanadium oxide (VOx) detector, incorporating DRS' patented absorber technology, to image infrared energy in the 8-14 micrometer spectrum. Featuring an image resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, it provides outstanding thermal imagery for applications that demand high resolution, small size, light weight, and low power consumption. The UC640-17-LW utilizes a 17 µm pixel pitch, which results in reductions in size and weight without comprising imaging performance.

    The UC640-17-LW is available in two configuration formats: a ruggedized, environmentally sealed OEM (housed) and SC (open frame split electronics) configuration for maximum integrator flexibility. It comes with a variety of lens focal length options, as well as a no lens option for those customers who would like to mount their own custom lens. In addition, its T-Comp circuit design allows operation without the need for the temperature stabilization of a thermoelectric cooler (TEC).

    This camera was built to perform under virtually any circumstances. Its advanced VOx microbolometer structure is enhanced with a DRS-patented “umbrella” absorber. Its housing is environmentally sealed for use in any environmental conditions. And it takes full advantage of Local Area Processing (LAP) image-enhancement technology to give users as much information as possible whatever the conditions may be.

    The UC640-17-LW comes with an industry standard Camera Link digital video interface. This interface is directly accessible from an environmentally sealed SDR connector on the rear of the OEM camera or an alternate connector on the split configuration camera.

    With camera modules weighing as little as 30 grams, occupying less than 30 cubic centimeters, and drawing as little as 750 mW of power, the Tamarisk™ 320 redefines the compact class of thermal cameras making it the ideal solution for applications constrained by aggressive size, weight and power requirements.

    The first 320 x 240 VOx microbolometer of its kind, it combines industry leading 17 µm pixel pitch technology with DRS’ patented advanced absorber superstructure to provide greater sensitivity and superior image quality. Regardless of lighting conditions, the camera produces crystal clear imagery during day, night, and through smoke, dust, haze, and fog.

    The Tamarisk™ 320 is available with a lens focal length of 7.5 mm, 11.2 mm, 21 mm or 35 mm, with horizontal fields of view of 40°, 27°, 15°, and 9° respectively and a no lens configuration for mounting a custom optic of your own. Additionally, modular electronics makes the imager very easy to integrate into systems produced by manufacturers, and its low power consumption can provide extended capabilities to those systems.

    PTZ 640-100Z Thermal imaging surveillance system w zoom
    The Aquila PTZ 640 is a rugged low profile high resolution thermal imaging surveillance system with zoom.

    The PTZ system employs three cameras, of which camera 1 and 2 have zoom function.

    The high performance rugged multi sensor system is designed to MIL-STD for day and night operations in the harshest weather and environmental conditions, including continuous salt water spray or blowing sand and rain, as well as direct sunlight.

    WatchMaster IP Elite ®

    Utilising technological advances and expansion into high-volume, low cost manufacturing, DRS brings affordable thermal imaging technology to commercial surveillance and security applications with the WatchMaster® IP Elite.

    The WatchMaster® IP Elite employs DRS’ proven uncooled 320 x 240 VOx thermal imaging technology. Unlike many conventional video surveillance cameras, the WatchMaster® IP Elite does not require any ambient light or illumination. It detects infrared (heat) waves to provide users with superior thermal images in challenging environments, including complete darkness, over water and in dark corners, where obstacles are difficult to detect due to lighting constraints.

    The camera system is an Internet Protocol (IP) networked solution, conforming to the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF™) standard and is operational in a networked environment through a central office, remote video management system or through the DRS provided Web interface utility. Consuming less than 15 watts of power, the WatchMaster® IP Elite can operate over its full temperature range in extreme environments while powering within standard IEEE802.3af (PoE) limits over conventional network cabling. As a result, the camera can be configured and installed easily into existing security infrastructure.

    Measuring approximately 2025 cm3 and weighing less than 1500 grams, the WatchMaster® IP Elite is compact and lightweight. It is sealed to an IP66 outdoor rating, which makes it ideal for outdoor security of critical infrastructure such as airports, utility companies, and nuclear power plants. The camera is available with a choice of three fully sealed and hard carbon coated athermalized fixed focus lenses, which provide a horizontal field of view of 40°, 16° or 9°, and are all capable of 4X digital zoom.
